Open an account

Create an FPTrading MetaTrader 5 Standard account in euros with 1:500 leverage using the following link:

NOTE: select yes when asked whether you have a referrer. The system fills in the field with the IB code associated with the activation link. Existing EagleFX clients with FPM Trading can use their existing accounts without having to register with FP Trading.

Deposit your capital

Deposit the capital you want to invest into your MT5 account using your preferred method from your dashboard (€1,000 for each individual strategy. EURUSD and AUDCAD can run on the same account with a suggested capital of €2,000, or with €1,000 if you understand the greater risk. A separate account must be dedicated to the Storm XAUUSD strategy. You can create additional Standard MT5 accounts in euros with 1:500 leverage from your dashboard).

Activate the strategy

Register using the following link to activate the EagleFX Storm XAUUSD strategy:

Once you have clicked the link for the strategy you want to activate, select the MetaTrader 5 server (fpt mt5 live) from the dropdown menu, enter the account number on which you want to activate the strategy and the password you chose during registration, then click Register. Select Action on the next page and click Activate.

Accept any terms and conditions and select the option to copy all open positions from the dropdown menu that appears. Confirm to complete activation.

Autoscale and multipliers

NOTE: risk is set automatically at x1 for every €1,000 deposited. Those who want to exponentially increase their account’s risk exposure, with a corresponding increase in drawdown as well as profits, must sign in to their account’s copytrading profile using the following link:

Next, go to My Portfolio using your profile’s dropdown menu, select the EURUSD or AUDCAD strategy by clicking the small black arrows at the sides at the bottom of the page, select Subscription Strategy and change Autoscale to Multiply. Then increase the numerical value by 1 according to the risk you want to apply. With a value of 2, the historical drawdown of 8% doubles to 16%, and so on. As future market movements cannot be predicted, you are advised not to overdo it. Once you have set the risk to your preference, select Save to save your changes. It is important to remember that greater risk means a greater possibility of losing capital as well as earning more.

Monitor with MetaTrader 5

To monitor your investment in real time, download MetaTrader 5 on your Android or iOS smartphone.

Go to Settings, New Account and configure the live account with your FPTrading credentials (Standard account number, password and the FP Trading LLC Live server). Once the account is configured correctly, the Trade menu will show your balance and trades opened automatically and remotely in real time (manually intervening in them is strictly prohibited), while under History you can view customised reports of profits realised day by day.
